We are Elise and Mark, and with great pleasure, your hosts at Peerke’s Place.

Together with our three children, we love to travel and explore the far corners of the world. But Koh Samui holds a very special place in our hearts. Not just because of its beauty, but because our parents spent many years living part-time on this island. In their search for the perfect winter retreat, they settled here and decided to build a home. Under the watchful eye of our father (in-law) Peerke, this beautiful villa in the hills of Bophut was completed in 2005.

For many years, it became the heart of our family. A place to come together, relax, celebrate holidays, and create lasting memories. Sadly, Peerke is no longer with us, but his spirit lives on in this home and in the surroundings he loved so much.

As the house is no longer used as often as before, we decided to open it up to guests. This allows us to keep the villa in the family, return from time to time ourselves, and above all share it with others who are looking for peace, comfort, and the beauty of Koh Samui.

We truly hope you will enjoy our special place as much as we do. The view, the comfort of the villa, and the magic of this island.

Layout & Comfort

Peerke’s Place is thoughtfully designed to follow the natural shape of the hillside on which it’s built, creating a spacious multi-level home with sea views, privacy, and comfort in mind. The villa is spread over two levels, with the main living area located on the upper floor, where indoor and outdoor spaces blend seamlessly for relaxed island living.

You’ll arrive at the villa through the garden-side entrance, where you can park on the private driveway or use the garage. From here, you enter the property via the pool area, stepping straight into a tropical oasis. When parking the private garage, which is located beneath the pool. From there, a short staircase leads you up to the first floor appartment and the main entrance top floor.

On the top floor, you’ll find the heart of the home: a bright and airy living area, a kitchen, and two air-conditioned bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom. One of these bathrooms features both a bathtub and a separate walk-in shower. This level opens onto a panoramic terrace offering sweeping views of the sea and lush surroundings. A perfect spot to relax in the shade and enjoy outdoor dining or morning coffee.

Just a few steps away is the private infinity-style pool. One side of the pool features a built-in lounge bench where you can unwind, soak up the views, and enjoy the tranquility of the hillside setting.

The lower level of the villa offers an additional air-conditioned bedroom. Soon another will be available, but now storage. Each with access to a shared balcony. This floor also includes a compact bathroom with shower and toilet. One of the bedrooms features a convenient kitchenette and refrigerator, providing extra independence for guests.

Whether you’re working, traveling with family or friends, Peerke’s Place offers a peaceful and well-appointed retreat, just a short drive from Samui’s vibrant beaches, restaurants, and attractions.
